The Western Reserve Safety Council (WRSC) is an organization assembled to provide a forum for the presentation of health and safety issues and the exchange of ideas and concepts for best practices in accident prevention. The information and resources available through the WRSC will increase awareness and, with implementation of strategies learned, the likelihood of reduction of workplace accidents and injuries.
The monthly meeting topics will have an emphasis on regulatory compliance (e.g. OSHA, EPA rules and regulations, et al.) The WRSC is open to all public and private companies in the Solon area and surrounding communities.
The WRSC is the 80th active safety council in the Ohio Safety Council Program and is a self-governing organization administered by a steering committee and sponsored by the State of Ohio Bureau of Workers’ Compensation in collaboration with the following Chambers of Commerce:
How much does it cost?
Annual membership fees is $50 for companies that belong to their local chamber of commerce and $100 for non-Chamber members. The WRSC is currently offering a lifetime honorary membership and other benefits to founding member companies who make a one-time donation of $5,000 to help defray WRSC start-up costs.
