Distracted driving is the number one cause of death for teenagers.

On April 5, 2017 the Western Reserve Safety Council presented a distracted driving program for the 11th grade class at Lake Catholic High School in Mentor. It included vivid demonstrations of how easy it is to be involved in an accident and the importance of always being safe in the car. On May 1, 2017 we are having another assembly for the 12th grade class at Lake Catholic. Many thanks to Safety Council steering committee member Chet Green of Northcoast Shredding for his leadership on this important program.
